Wind down time
I am realizing more and more that I turn to media to wind down at night. Christian and I will often watch something right before we go to bed. Maybe this is okay, but maybe I need to rethink what I put in my mind right before I go to bed. Maybe a good book or listening to music would be better than watching an episode of something. Episodes are just so easy to get on Netflix. Last night we watched a little portion of "Emma Smith" which was good, but watching things sometimes wakes me up more than it puts me to sleep. Food for thought...

I always fall asleep listening to music. I didn't used to, but the past month or so I have been. I can't decide if it's a problem that I keep doing it. I don't want to become dependent on it. I used to fall asleep watching shows though too. They usually made me pretty tired :)
ReplyDeletethat is a good thing to think about. i guess i should be more aware of the things i am exposing my mind and body to right before it is supposed to get rejuvenated with rest. i should probably choose things that well start the relaxation process.
